Thank you for visiting my website. I'm an amateur photographer located in the mid-west (Kansas City, MO). I’ve been experimenting with photography for over 40 years. I started in film photography while serving in the USAF and stationed on the Island of Crete. Over the years, the Air Force relocated my family and I around several times, so we've lived in places like Crete, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK; and during that time, I kept taking pictures of family and the areas we visited. Twenty-four years later, I retired from the Air Force and relocated to Kansas City, where I now live with my wife, and our two Siberian Huskies.
Lessons learned over the years of experimenting with the ever-changing, unpredictable nature of photography have given me an ability to work comfortably in, and adapt quickly to, fluid situations and unfamiliar locations. All of this experience has taught me more about photography, and I’ve been able to mature as a photographer along the way.
I enjoy landscape, cityscape, astrophotography, and travel photography. My passion for adventure and travel has been my inspiration to capture the moods and character of the amazing places I’ve been lucky to visit.
